Once a way and a way to away round the world with no dirty sole
Twice a trip and a dip and a skip and a tightly spun swirl
Third for a wing and a sing and a bird alight to extol
Four for slight sound, whispers settling down
Fifth flies on to safe, solid bole
Six rests, soft breaths
And seven keeps sleep
Until comes again a once dawn

Cool rhyme dance. I like it when the words slither and twist. Like that.

Nice trick to get that far around the globe with undirty soles, by the way.

Love the last line. It sense almost makes. Define a once dawn.

Just got back from South Louisiana today. Bayous are good for Ramblin' Ed's soul.
