6. Compass- you just feel cool using a compass
5. Field notebook- a happy little book with waterproof paper full of illegible to anyone but you scribbles
4. Waterproof pens- You can go into an artsy fartsy craft store and not feel awkward
3. Field Clothes- the most comfortable clothes I own, those t-shirts that you can’t quite retire yet
2. Waders and/or big rubber boots- I don’t know about you but I look HOT in waders
1. Flagging tape- come on who Doesn’t like flagging tape?
And as the good Dr. Boorse stated when we really over topped in the crick, ‘You know you are committed when your underwear gets involved.’

Two things come to mind. First this:
6. Compass- you just feel cool using a compass
Yes, I wholeheartedly agree. But...I kinda feel like it should be higher on the list. A 3 minimum and there's a case to be made for 1.
Secondly, the Good Dr. Boorse sounds like a very wise man to me. I have a good feeling about him.

I guess the compass rides lower just because lots of people use compi but trust me all of said items are high on the list. I just cropped off the top few to share. Oh yeah and the Good Doctor is a woman. She reminds me of a dragonfly and apparently she got to go talk to congress a few weeks ago. My favorite proff is famous- who knew?
Like I said, a lovely lady that sounds like a wise man. Easy, greasy.

If you're ever drinking with Japanese say compi. It means cheers.

Thanks for the tip.
